Asher will start speech therapy this week. Also Dave is gone all week. He returns on Saturday. The following Tuesday Josie has her big bladder test.
So, please keep me in your prayers in hopes that Lil Cutie stays put. At least this next week. We actually will have to get Dave a cell phone this weekend so I can get in touch with him if the baby comes.
We also are doing family pictures this weekend. And pictures of the kids. I got the cutest sailor outfits for them.
I have tons of projects to do with MOPS. I love doing it, I just wish I had a big block of time without my cute little distractions. With Dave leaving that isn't looking like it will happen. I do hope to get it all done before the baby.
Once the baby comes Dave hopes to be in town and take a week off. He has been selected as a team member for the KC-X Source Selection team. If you keep up on current events Airbus, a European country, won the bid to produce the next tanker (air refueling plane). Well, Boeing protested for security reasons (many Europeans don't seem to be friendly to the US war efforts), and the billions of dollars heading out of the US. So to some extent the process is reopening and Dave will be part of solving the issue. What does this all mean to me? Well I am proud of him of course. It is a high profile opportunity. But, he will be gone alot. Again. So a majority of this year he will be gone.
Josie is upset about him being gone just this next week. She tells him often that she doesn't want him to go away for his job anymore. They have a very sweet relationship. I love seeing them jump all over each other and take breaks to hug and kiss.
I just read this article and it is heartbreaking to think of all the children wanting families.
Here are some pictures from our trip to Branson and Silver Dollar City.
