We went on a long trip to the Omaha area for a family reunion and to see old friends, and stopped through Branson for 5 days as well. I just wanted time with Dave and the kids and not worry about stuff. That aspect of the trip was great!
Tuesday night I was miserable with contractions. Probably because of a thunderstorm. But I ended up in Labor & Delivery for 6 hours to be monitored. They called it Uterine Irritability. But that is such a calm sounding diagnosis. It was back to back, nonstop contractions across my lower abdomen. Of course they hook up the monitor at the top of my stomach and just caught a couple regular contractions. So, they watched me a few more hours just because I am a third timer, and sent me home.
Dave has been getting caught up on yardwork. And we discovered after we got home from Branson that the yard guy hacked up our gardens. We are both pretty upset about it. Many bushes and perrenials are 1/2 gone. We will cut down all the perrenials late this fall, and they will bounce back fine next year. But if you cut away a 1/2 of a bush, that is shaping it. So they are formal shaped, when we have an informal garden. Hopefully they look good next year as we may be moving. But this year is done. I am so disappointed.
Josie continues to have bladder issues. We will get a referral to a pediatric urologist this next week. I hope it is just a simple fix. She has nonstop UTIs. So either she is in pain or on medicine.
Asher is doing well. I am starting to think that I will try to bring him to a Speech Pathologist because he isn't making huge strides.
