The world according to Josie.

At swimming class last week Josie sat next to a black woman who was dressing right after swimming while Josie was getting her swimsuit on for class. She said pretty loudly, "Mommy, our baby is going to have brown skin like that lady." I looked at who she was pointing at and the lady was smiling. I said, "Oh, probably not. Daddy's skin is light like mine. The baby will have skin like me or daddy. But that is a very nice skin color."

So I told Dave about this a day or so after he got home. Dave said, "Better not be a brown baby!" I said, "Yeah, and due in October. " HA!!! (Dave was in Iraq Dec-June)

That same night out of the blue Josie said, "Mom, how does God make plants grow?" I said, "He uses water and light and creates a miracle." She paused for about 10 seconds, I could tell the gears were turning. Then said, "Mommy, is He Super God?" "Yes, Josie He is Super God."
