Josie has been very interested in how the body works for the last year. We have studied every system. She learned all about the reproductive system while looking through a pamphlet during my appts when I was pregnant. Lately she has been really into drawing and learning her letters. She draws "guys" all the time. She has gotten more and more detailed. Recently she added a baby in the guy's stomach. And I saw these weird things around it. She said it was the handle bars (aka fallopian tubes - I told her they looked like handle bars). "The baby is holding onto the handle bars so he wouldn't fall out. Just like Zachariah did." Oh goodness!
Last night she had a toy that is supposed to help kids with fine motor skills and letters. It is round beads with letters on them that you string on a string. She did that and then tied the ends together in a knot. She was running around the house and then came to me. "I am going to save the world! I'm Super Jo-Jo!!!" I figure she got that from the 2 of us always trying to make the world a better place.
