We continue to be super busy!

Dave and I are in the middle of classes. Both at the same time makes things a bit crazy. Dave's class is on the Arab-Israeli conflict. He is pursuing his Master's in National Security Studies with an emphasis in Middle East Studies.

Asher and I have bad colds. We both need a bunch of vitamin C and some serious down time.

Josie and Asher's tumbling and swimming classes are over for now. Phew! We will take a break until after Christmas.

We have a trip planned to go to Springfield,IL in a couple of weeks. We will visit the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum and The Dana-Thomas House. The Dana-Thomas House is a Frank Lloyd Wright original and we love prairie style so that will be fun. And frankly, we need some fun time away from the busyness and have fun as a family.

We will be driving up to Northern MN for Christmas. And then in early-mid January heading to San Diego to see Dave's dad and sister's family.

I have also began the curriculum research. And I have attended our church's Hearts at Home get-together. It seems Josie is in Kindergarten right now. So I will have to evaluate where she is before I purchase something. We may finish Kindergarten before she turns 5. I love the freedom to go at her speed. I figure there may be times or situations down the road where we may need to slow down and that will be fine. She is really into the letters and is getting very good at sight recognition and phonics. And is doing fairly good at writing the letters. She has long mastered shapes and colors.

We did just get our pumpkins and Dave is almost done carving them. I am the designer he is the carver and cleaner. :) A good set up don't cha think? The kids are attending the Fall Festival tonight at church. I will try to get photos downloaded tomorrow so you can see our cute Dinosaur, Tootsie Roll and Princess.
