Updates on all of us

Asher had his speech re-evaluated and I just got my copy in the mail. It says he has Expressive Language Disorder. He is at a 10 month old's level. That made me pretty sad to hear that. Today I got a call from the therapist's office and I have to get a new referral from the docs to get the insurance to pay for it. Thankfully I got a return phone call from another doc a couple hours later and explained the situation and he said he would resubmit it.

Josie had her bladder test again. She was a Grade 2 reflux last year and now is a Grade 1. So it is getting better. But there is no explanation as to why she has nonstop UTIs. I am working with her in hygiene. But other than that I will call the docs and see what they have to say and push forward with seeing a Pediatric Urologist.

I went to the docs today. I am 38 weeks pregnant now. He "checked" me (after I asked the nurse to give the kids a tour), and I am 2cm and 50%. So things are moving along. I still hope to make it to Aug 15th and a part of me will be disappointed if I don't. So we talked about things we will do to make me hit Aug 15th, if I am still pregnant the day or so before.

Dave is doing well. He is working out alot and watching what he eats. He is about to enroll in another Master's class.

No new adoption news. There are rumors that the CCAA is closing during the Olympics. Then there are rumors that that will stay open. So...we continue to wait. I did find this touching article about Steve Curtis Chapman and the recent loss of his adopted daughter. The comments below are interesting too.
